She has helped so much with post op recovery. Easing the tightness from scar tissue

Fascial Release Bodywork

| Somatic Bodywork

“The body is our greatest ally in the healing process, as it holds the wisdom and resources necessary for healing.”

Peter Levine | Author of Waking The Tiger

Fascial release bodywork can help clients suffering from: > Chronic pain > Stress & anxiety > Scar tissue  > Releasing traumatic experience  It can be a daunting decision to decide to work on our bodies and start the journey to release emotional holding, anxiety and traumatic experiences. But more often than not, it can be the last piece of the puzzle to allow our body to move through and process the experience.  Over the last 2 years, I have been honoured to support and witness so many of my clients stories and help them on their healing journey. Clients have often described a feeling of 'stuckness' in their bodies and at it's core, this bodywork is about meeting the body where it is and offering change.  I’ve supported clients who have experienced a varying levels of trauma, anxiety & chronic stress, clients who have experienced physical and sexual abuse. Clients that have had traumatic births & emergency procedures and clients who are suffering with grief & loss. In my bodywork sessions, I endeavour to hold & non judgemental, held space for my clients. Meeting their body where it is. Healing on any level can take time & I am there to support my clients wherever they are in their journey.  If you’d like to discuss your treatment, please get in touch. The Treatment A profound & effective hands on somatic treatment for chronic pain, reduced mobility and releasing emotional holding patterns from the body. It recognises and works with the connection between our physical & emotional health allowing the client to heal at the deepest level.    In treatment, hands are placed directly on the skin, and a sustained, gentle pressure is applied into the body. The therapist feels into the connective tissue restrictions and facilitates change within the fascial network.   In cases where there is an emotional component, the techniques used allow them to process safely through the body. Its core belief is about meeting the body where it is and holding space for it to release in its own time, with compassion.   As a standalone treatment or alongside traditional talking therapies, fascial release can be a powerful tool for clients allowing the body to process their lived experience.  Your first treatment will be a 90 min session. This will include a consultation so we can discuss your medical history, aims for the treatment and carry out any assessments if required. We will then lead into a bodywork session.
